JJ Manford was born in 1983 in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. He is now settled in Brooklyn, New York City.
He obtained his bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University in 2006. Then he earned a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2009, followed by an MFA in Painting at Hunter College in 2012.
His work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, London, Rome, and many more.
